US Unemployment Rate Drops Below 9 Percent

The Nonfarm Payroll report showed a gain of 192k jobs in the US for February 2011. The official unemployment rate dropped slightly to 8.9 percent.

The previous two months were also revised higher.

I sometimes wonder if I am the only one that feels like something is off kilter here.

What do you think? Is today’s news a sign that things are turning around?
