Wells Fargo Chairman Tells Us How To Fix the Mortgage Mess
John Stumpf, Chairman of Wells Fargo tells us how to fix the mortgage mess in an article at CNNMoney.com. This is the same John Stumpf who has been with Wells Fargo for 28 years, and has been President of the company since 2005. He was appointed CEO in 2007, all according to the company website.
Back in February 2009, CBS Evening News talked about the $25 billion in taxpayer bailout money and generous tax advantages that appear to have made it possible for Wells Fargo to buy Wachovia.
I think he definitely knows how to fix Wells Fargo with our money, but I wonder at the value of his advice in fixing something Wells Fargo was involved in creating.
